Paper print on stretched canvas by Liz Vaughn, "Sonoran Vapor Trails." As artists do, I decided to try a little experiment with paper prints from my original oil paintings. The process is still very much in prototype mode, and very much handmade. The print is attached to the canvas with an acrylic medium acts as a binding agent. Once the print is dry, I give it a clear top coat for further protection, This may end up being a limited edition series, or perhaps one that I revisit time to time.
This piece is perfect for a nook, in a collection or standing alone as an accent piece.
