Original oil painting by Liz Vaughn. "A Jetpack Full of Flowers". "The work you are making now is preparing you for the work you haven't made yet." Every artist needs to hear these words now and again to remind themselves that they are doing the work necessary to move forward. Moving forward doesn't always look pretty, and sometimes it's completely messy! This piece went through many, many transitions, and finally landed here.
