Original oil painting by Liz Vaughn. "Apponere". The title, in case you were wondering, is Latin and means "to place near". Words are just so fascinating, aren't they? This lovely creature was definitely birthed by being placed near some new inspirational ideas for me, and some old watercolor painting roots. She began as a sketch, followed by a layer of thin acrylic wash, and then oil paint to complete her mysterious shadowy vibe.
11" inches wide by 14" inches high by .75" inches deep. Painted on all sides, ready to hang, no frame necessary.
Oil paint, on canvas
