Original oil painting by Liz Vaughn. "November Solitude". I found myself at the easel on Thanksgiving morning, after a beautiful soft rain (which is always a blessing in the desert). It seemed like the clouds were somehow different that day, and perhaps carried a bit of magic that poured out right on to my painting. It is hard to capture the depth in this painting with a photograph, the subtle ridges and texture are absolutely captivating!
The second photo combines this painting with one abstract in my series, creating an interesting narrative that will have you telling stories for days. Please look for the additional painting listed under "I Think I Am In Love".
Dimensions: 12 inches wide by 24 inches high, by 2 inches deep on birch panel. Painted on all sides, ready for hanging, no frame necessary.
Materials: Oil paint, oil paint marker, graphite, sharpie, birch panel
