Original oil painting by Liz Vaughn. "Sacred Ordinariness" is a delicate marriage of abstract and figurative. I have been spending a lot of time in the studio working on abstract pieces, which has led to more experimentation within my figurative work, I love the freedom of movement, blurring of lines, and unexpected beautiful outcomes. This piece calls in a bit of play with the fantastical pink polka dot animal.
