Original oil painting by Liz Vaughn, "Chicken Scratch". I discovered these aluminum panels hidden away in a cabinet, who knows what I had "intended" to do with them. It is not the first time I have painted on metal but it has been a while, so I figured why not? I have included a video which offers a peek into the studio and ramblings of an artist. On this particular panel, I stated with acrylic paint and layered in some words in a graffiti type style. I mumbled to myself that no one could read this "chicken scratch" and, naturally had to title the piece as such.
This piece is perfect for a nook, in a collection or standing alone as an accent piece.
