Original oil painting by Liz Vaughn. "Ghost Rider. As you have gathered by now, I don't often paint animals, and most of my subject matter dwells around the female form. A few years ago I had spirit animal reading, in which I found out one of my spirit animals is a white buffalo. Perhaps this has been in the back of my mind since then, and finally decided to make a debut! The original sketch was strong, but I really tanked somewhere in the middle stages. I decided to go all out with color and bold paint strokes, thinking there wasn't much to lose at that point. That risk taking, breaking from perfection and expectation definitely paid off.
